Why Choose Us?
We offer personalized audiological care to ensure you are getting the most out of your hearing aids. We believe hearing aids are only one piece to treating hearing loss. What is important is how well the hearing aids are fit and tailored to your unique lifestyle. Explaining to patients as well is crucial in this process since you, the hearing aid wearer, need to be educated on how hearing aids work and what you can fully expect from them.
Caring for our patient’s needs and giving them in-depth individualized attention sets us apart from other audiological practices or ENT’s. We believe you should be treated with respect and deserve to know about your own hearing health. That’s why we don’t just sell you hearing aids, we give you the time and knowledge to effectively take care of your overall health.
Your First Appointment
- Our audiologist will begin your appointment with a conversation to get to know you and what brings you in. She’ll ask you about your hearing and what issues you are experiencing along with your medical history.
- After a short conversation, she’ll explain what the hearing evaluation will consist of as well as answer any questions or concerns you may have. She will then begin the evaluation.
- Afterwards she will go over your results by showing you your audiogram. She will allow enough time for you to ask any questions, and if you do have hearing loss, to process your diagnosis.
- If needed she will come up with a plan for you and go over your options for hearing aids as well as explain the different technologies and styles they are available in.
Although it is not required, it can be helpful to bring a friend or family member to your first appointment. Our goal is to make you comfortable and give you the support you need, so if bringing someone in with you makes that easier then we encourage you to. But, if you’re more comfortable coming in by yourself, then we want you to do what is best for you.
